There are several things about human beings that fascinate me.  Top of the list is mastery.  Those who find their gift and then invest thousands of hours in becoming the best they can be.  True masters continue to study all of their lives.  They say it takes 10,000 hours of practicing a skill to master it.  But that’s just the mastering part.  The years after that are about growth, learning and achieving way beyond the ordinary.  It is a neverending quest accompanied by an unquenchable thirst for more…more knowledge, more skills…and typically at some point an outlet for sharing that mastery with others.

I also have an intense curiousity about those who overcome challenges and choose victory over victimhood.
