There are certain messages and informative articles, I believe are worth repeating so I’ve created Worth Repeating Wednesdays.
Each Wednesday I will select one or two blogs or articles that are, in my not so humble opinion (because if it’s humble then who’s gonna listen!), not to be missed. Some weeks, they will be posted here. Other week’s I’ll send them out via an email blast to my list.
If you want to be sure not to miss my highly recommended items, then go to the right side of the page under my photo and register for my newsletter. This will ensure you get my email notices as well.
This week, please check out Roy Ackerman’s informative and important post, The Law of Unintended Circumstances. It is a very well written, well researched (because that’s just Roy’s way) article on some very serious news around HPV.
For those of you not familiar with the term, it can be translated as PREVENTABLE CANCER!!! Sorry for shouting, but I’ve long had bone to pick with the medical establishment about what I see as their utter failure to inform about the absolute direct tie between HPV and cancer.
Ladies…let me say this one more time…HPV is a proven cause of cervical cancer. According to the statistics in Roy’s article, cervical cancer is the second leading cause of death in women worldwide ~ so the next time you consider going condom-free, take a moment and consider surgical scars, chemotherapy drips, ports and such.
Okay, I broke rule #2 about Worth Repeating Wednesdays…I promised it would be short…so as I cruise toward 250 words, let me turn it over to Roy.
