Inaction is a choice.  Action is a choice.  They are two sides to the same coin called your life.  No one but you can decide if you will simply accept what comes your way or live a life by design on purpose.  It is completely up to you.  That’s the good news.

So, if the only person holding you back is you…what’s up with that?  I say this not from a place of judgment but from a place of been there, done it, done with it.  There is inspiration and support all around us if we’re willing to venture outside our comfort zone.  That’s another two sided coin.

A comfort zone may keep us safe but it isn’t as cushy as it sounds.  Often it can be a space that would seem, from the outside, to be very uncomfortable…a place where we are living in pain or suffering.  However, when that is something we know well, know how to navigate and have figured out ways to cope and get by it can, in a strange way, become comfortable.  We know what to expect there which can seem much better than facing the unknown.

To grab a piece of inspiration, check out Britta Aragon’s wonderful blog post about a cancer survivor who is stepping well outside any comfort zone I can imagine.

So, today…take a pass on inaction and invest 5 minutes…or pass along this story…another way to choose to support.  The beauty of the ripple effect is that often only the universe sees how far it goes…therein lies the magic and the web of connection.
