According to a study by the National Family Caregivers Association, 65% (approximately 29 million) people are caregiving twenty or more hours per week and the impact on their physical, mental, financial and social well being is massive.
Caregiving creates stress, no matter how much you love the one you are looking out for. I shared my personal experience in a recent article, “Knowing When To…” plus some helpful ideas on creating a more balanced approach so you have longevity as a caregiver and avoid burnout.
