What kind of stressors are impacting the quality of your life today? Finances? Health issues? Traffic? A feeling of too many priorities and not enough time? Health, money, relationships, family and career are areas where most people pinpoint the sources of stress.
These are important elements that can be addressed with many of the approaches I use with my private coaching clients.
But what if there was source of stress you hadn’t even considered…a source that could be converted into a pool of energy that could fire you up and give you the fuel to achieve your greatest goals? Wouldn’t you want to be able to tap into this…now?!
Most people move through life in a fairly unconscious manner, almost like they are on autopilot. We can get caught up in the day-to-day challenges of making a living, juggling responsibilities and trying to keep up with the ever-increasing pace of life in the modern world. This can push us into more of a mode of survival. We resort to old patterns or we just get stuck completely.
In my coach training, I studied a system through iPEC based on understanding the impact our thoughts and perceptions have in our lives called Energy Leadership.
Working with the Energy Leadership model creates awareness of limiting beliefs, old patterns and unconscious behaviors so you can begin to make informed choices. The more choice you have in life, the more joy you have. As a master practitioner certified in the Energy Leadership Assessment Index, I can help you identify previously unconscious sources of stress and guide you to transform them into fuel for your dreams.
With choice, comes a feeling of freedom. Moving past should haves and ought tos is liberating. Noticing when we are acting unconsciously, being able to shift into a more aware place and then choosing our action or reaction reduces stress and allows for more peace.
This week we are going to uncover the role catabolic and anabolic (think destructive and creative, respectively) thoughts have in creating or dissipating stress in our lives and how we can create a working relationship between them to decrease stress and amp up the energy we have for living our lives and turning our dreams into reality. Stay tuned…tomorrow we delve into the catabolic side of things!
